The American Business Women’s Association is offering two types of scholarships to women who are residents of Los Angeles county, Orange county, Riverside county, or San Bernardino county in California. You must have achieved a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better on a 4.0 scale and must be a US Citizen.

$1,000 Scholarships

The Upland Route 66 Charter Chapter of ABWA will award $1000 Scholarships to women who

  • will be attending or have been accepted at a licensed or accredited vocational, technical school, or community college that is authorized to confer degrees at least at the Associate level
  • will be a first or second year college student in August 2008

This organization will award two (2) $1,000 Scholarships


$2000 Scholarships

The Upland Route 66 Charter Chapter of ABWA will award $2000 Scholarships to women who

  • will be a college Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Graduate student in August 2008
  • will attend or has been accepted at an accredited college or university authorized to confer degrees at or above the baccalaureate level
